This one might be a little hard to appreciate by a single image but it's all done in Flash and ActionScript 3. The tree/building/marker are all draggable within the world grid. Their actual Longitude and Latitude update above them as you drag them around the map.

My brother helped me the with the advanced math and calculations to map the coordinates to a perspective plane. So as you drag a marker forward the value will increment at a slower rate. That same system actually scales the artwork as well so they appear to grow or shrink depending on which way your are dragging.

Anyway, it's still a work in progress, and will hopefully be fleshed out a little more to become a full site. I'm not sure how it will eventually be branded, but as proof of concept piece it really came together and does everything I was hoping for.
